A Royal Wall/Window Glass Weave- This is one of my first glass weaves. It is made from two layers of thick 5mm fusible glass. The first layer is strips of gorgeous royal blue, rainbow iridized glass, decorated with clear and bronze iridized glass rectangles. The weave includes strips of clear and bronze iridized strips. The weave is tack fused onto a sheet of clear glass. The texture on this glass is gorgeous, and it is one of my favorites! It would look lovely in a window, on the wall, or displayed on an easel. The display measures 10" by 10", and hangs with nylon coated Beadalon cable wire (26lb. test). The flexible wire will come attached in the channels, and includes a strong white 3 prong wall hanger.  (one available)

Place Setting Pieces

A Ripple Through the Carnival- These are the first of what will be piece place settings made from two layers of thick 5mm fusible glass. The first layer is a gorgeous royal blue, rainbow iridized glass, followed by a sheet a clear glass. The sheen and texture on this bowl is just amazing! It's food safe, but keep it out of the microwave and dishwasher. It is a showpiece and measures 9" by 9" square, with 1 3/4" depth. (SOLD but made to order, allow 2 weeks)

A Ripple Through the Carnival Lamp- Made from two layers of thick 5mm fusible glass from a 10.5" diameter disk. The first layer is a gorgeous royal blue, rainbow iridized glass, followed by a sheet a clear glass. After the final firing, we drill a hole in the base with a diamond drill bit, so it can be mounted on this stunning brushed, nickel lamp base. The lamp is designed specifically for fused glass, so you can remove the shade for cleaning, or interchange shades. We found that a florescent, curled bulb, looks amazing! The sheen and texture on this lamp is just fabulous! This lamp will be shipped in two separate boxes, for only five dollars shipping charged.

The Hawaiian Hieroglyph Votive Candle Holder- Like the Hawaiian Hieroglyph Platter this votive candle holder was fused on top of a earthenware tile that my hubby made when we were on the island of Kauai. First, a layer of gorgeous royal blue, rainbow iridized glass, followed by a sheet a clear glass, was fused on top of the decorated tile. Then the 5mm sheet of fusible glass was slumped/melted on top of the candle holder mold. The sheen and texture on this piece is amazing! 8" by 5" square, with a 2.5" arch. (one available and comes with two small vanilla scented candles)

The Hawaiian Hieroglyph Votive Candle Holder $20.00

The Hawaiian Hieroglyph Platter is " Da kine! " This plate was formed on top of carved clay hieroglyph tiles from Kauai by fusing iridescent glass over transparent Caribbean blue glass. The plate captures the story of  the Polynesian people crossing the ocean full of honu & sea life, to the Hawaiian isles. This platter is "8 by "8 and uses a piece of colored, and a piece of specialty glass. (one available)

New "Crazee Bowlz" Popcorn Bowls

Some things are just meant to be Crazy! This 8.5" popcorn bowl is made of two layers of bluberries & cream opal art glass. Both layers are fused together into one "sane" disk, and then it is slumped in it's mold to see what "crazee" design it will fall into. The bowl is 3" deep at it's highest edge. What a nice way to show off potpourri, decorations, and snacks. Stand included. (one available)

How its made:


The Feathers of the Phoenix series involve an 8 step process. It starts with a glass brick being fused from layers of transparent and opal glass dammed between four kiln bricks. That brick if sawed in half and bookended, then fused again. The humped brick is then sawed into thin slices with a round diamond bladed Taurus 3 glass saw. The slices are again bookended together and fused with a piece of clear glass on top. All are very beautiful and never the same, and can be used in jewelry and plates. The glass feathers are laid out on a black piece of opal glass and fused flat. Then a transparent piece of glass is placed on top, and the plate undergoes another 12 hour fusing. The last step is slumping/melting the disk into the 10" bowl mold. These are the most complex items I have made so far. This popcorn bowl is 8.5" wide and 3" deep, and has a half-lip for easy pouring of snacks and treats. Stand included.

The Chess Plate is made with black, white, and lipstick red opal glass, bordered with red grenadine streaky glass. All of the hand cut shapes are arranged over clear glass and fused. The pattern is visible through both sides, and lets the light show through for a soft glow. This plate  is "10 by "10 by 1/4" thick, and would be a striking sushi or hors d' oeuvres platter. Calling all bakers for our new  6" square mini cake plates with 8" square bakers box. This single sheet glass platter is fused with dichroic and iridescent glass accents making a fantastic backdrop for your special homemade treats, mini birthday cakes, and cupcakes. When the party is over your friend has a special trivet for cheese, butter, little snacks, and a wonder conversation piece at the table. If these are popular we will be offering more colors. Fancy Geometric Serving Cake Plate / Display Platter

Serve your guests or display your cakes on this fancy geometric shapes serving tray/ display platter. It is very thick (7mm) and quite substantial with three layers of  fusible glass. The glass squares are made with fusible "stringers" that have been bent with a blow torch. Dichroic red-orange and blue glass triangles have been fused into the surface. The back is made with ivory opal glass and it has six rubber feet so it remains in place on your table top. The platter measures 10" in diameter. What a surprise gift this would be under a birthday cake! (One original available)

Fancy Geometric Shapes Serving Tray / Cake Plate $45.00

Two Sided Fancy Geometric Shapes "Crazeee" Popcorn Bowl. This bowl is made of two layers of fusible glass, with two layers or fusible "stringers" that have been bent with a blow torch & dichroic red-orange and blue glass triangles have been fused into the surface. All of the air bubbles add depth and texture between the layers. The bowl measures 8.5" in diameter. Stand included. (One original available)

Two Sided Fancy Geometric Shapes "Crazeee" Popcorn Bowl. $50.00

The Jungle Gecko Plate & Candle Holder Set is made of two layers of heavy fusible glass. The back is made with clear fusible glass, while the green fracture-streamer glass is on top. The geckos are made of sparkling green Aventurine fusible glass. The green "streakies" glass, and clear glass, is hand cut to form the leaves and fern plant. This plate measures 9 3/4" by 5 3/4 inches while the candle holder is is 5" wide by 7" long and stands 2.5" tall.  Why the price difference? The fracture streamer glass is a specialty glass,  the Aventurine cutouts are added, and there so much hand cut detail work in this set. This would make a stunning wedding gift!

The Jungle Gecko Plate & Candle Holder Set $70.00

The Burgundy & Cream Triangles 'n Bubbles Plate is  made of two layers of  fusible glass. The burgundy and cream opal art glass, and triangles, are covered with clear fusible glass, which creates the bubbles. It has four rubber feet on the back and measures 9 3/4" by 5 3/4 inches. The Burgundy & Cream Fancy Triangles Book Mark approximately  5"
long by .7" wide. It is one layer thick as to not damage book spines.
The top of the book mark is decorated with tied burgundy ribbon,
which runs through the glass channel at the top. $6.00

The Cookies for Santa Plate is formed with purple and white powdered glass, along with bejeweled frit. The powdered glass and frit is sprinkled atop a transparent glass, so the plate is two sided. We used a paint brush to move the glass into a cheerful Christmas ornament pattern, and fused it. After, the plate was slumpled into a 10 inch plate mold. A matching pendant is included for the one leaving Santa the cookies. $20.00

Wall Hangings and Matching Plates

The Floral Thistle/ Saddle leather, sushi style plate, is made with iridescent smokey topaz/bronze glass. This square 6" by 6" sushi plate is has two layers of  fusible glass with the back being clear. The iridescence on this glass is thick and fabulous in it's purple-aqua finish. (one available)

The Horse Wall Hanging is made with iridescent smokey topaz glass. This     5 3/4" square wall hanging has two layers of  fusible glass with the embossed horse side, being the purple-aqua iridescent side. This plate hangs from 26lb. nylon coated cable wire which is double wrapped under both silver crimps. The crimps are covered with .925 sterling silver crimp covers. It has fused glass channels on it's corners, much like the channel style bead bracelets, where the wire runs through it. This wall hanging comes with a white 3 prong "Oook" hangar like the one in the picture.  (two available)

Garden- Sun Catchers & Wind Chimes

 


The Butterfly Sun Catcher- Just a little more dichroic glass and there is no way you couldn't stop me from wearing this big 3" by 3" Monarch interpretation butterfly, as a pendant! So you know what's coming next....tee hee. This butterfly is made from orange, black and clear frit /crushed, dichroic and iridescent glass. All the glass is placed in a mold, and a copper wire is added to the mix. The copper wire is coiled, and a copper plated jump ring is added to that "bail". It is then attached to a three inch copper plated chain, with a trigger clasp attached, so you can disconnect it when you want. Beyond that is three feet of mono-filament line with a jump ring, So you can adjust & hang it from your patio or window. Each one comes out different and beautiful!  (one available)
