The Grape Vine Necklace is made with dichroic and iridized glass. the glass has blue pearl iridescent powder mixed in it. The glass was fused between the curls of the copper wire, was then taken apart, cleaned, and epoxied back into place. The wire has been coated so it will not tarnish. It is on a solid 19", rolo link, copper chain, with a copper toggle clasp set. (approx. 2" long) The jump ring was made by hand, and the necklace has a rugged frontier look reminiscent of the dreams of starting a winery in the hills. (one available)

Faux Glass Opal Pin

The Faux Opal Glass Easter Pin- While giving my last glass fusing lesson, we decided to try something new. By crushing red & green, clear backed, dichroic glass we created faux opals. By adding a tiny bit of white opal glass and grinding the backs, the results were outstanding! This Faux Opal Easter Pin comes on a silver plated pin blank, with a secure, rotating key hole clasp. The Faux Ribbon Rock Set- have you ever seen the pink ribbon rocks that have streaks of turquoise running through them? We'll this was made with them in mind while experimenting with my faux stone recipes. Sterling silver powder with blue iridized glass creates the opaque swirls with the colors inside. In addition, this pendant was fused on a piece of dichroic glass and is even more beautiful on the backside. These pieces came out of the kiln in this gorgeous cut shape with no grinding and didn't even need to be fire polished. The pendant has a sterling silver bail and the French hook ear wires are sterling silver. the pendant is approximately 1" by 3/4" wide while the earrings are aprox. 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. The Western Heart Set- This Orange-Gold shifting dichroic glass has a platinum hearts fused between its tww layers. It was capped with clear glass before fusing. The earrings are one layer and light weight. The color in the glass sparkles. It has a gold plated plated bail. The head pins with genuine Swarovski crystals and French ear wires are gold filled and gold plated. The heavy duty adjustable ring blank is gold plated. The Prancing Foal Set- This pink -gold dichroic glass has 24k gold pen prancing foals fused between its two layers. It was capped with clear glass before fusing. The earrings are one layer and light weight. The color in the glass sparkles. It has a gold plated plated bail. The head pins and French ear wires are gold filled. The Rainbow pendant- This pendant is made of dichroic rainbow glass with stripes of clear glass across the the top. It is backed with specialty streamers and confetti glass. The pendant has a sterling silver bail. (one available) $10.00

New Screen Melts Groovy Glass
The Screen Melt Groovy Glass involves a 3-step process. It starts with glass being melted through a stainless steel screen, elevated on ceramic posts, in the kiln. Two colors of Opal Art glass are melted through the screen into a disk of swirled fused glass. The glass is still attached by small tendrils of glass, that are snapped away with one turn from the top. We throw on respirators, eye protection, and blow torch the tendrils back onto the fused glass disk. After designs are traced onto the disk, they are sawed into the shapes, with a diamond-bladed, Taurus 3 glass saw. All of the shapes go back into the kiln, to be fire polished at 1200 degrees. Finally, the 4" sterling silver wire wrap, or .925 sterling bails, are added.
After using this process this stainless screen device went back, realizing how dangerous the glass tendrils are, before they are blow torched. Even though everything on the site is one of a kind, these will truly be the only screen melt batch I create. Some of the pendants include the sterling silver chain, as they hang better on them. The sole pendants arrive on a dark brown leather cord necklace. Sterling necklaces can be found at the bottom of the page. Every item comes gift wrapped in an organza bag with tissue, inside of a craft logo bag and properly boxed.

These diamond cut flat oval link necklaces are made of sterling silver, with 2mm oval links, and finished with 9mm sterling silver trigger clasps. There is no jump ring on the end, to allow the necklace to be slid through almost any size bail. You can attach the lobster claw anywhere on the chain to wear your necklace shorter, or go up to end of your chain. These are so handy and the prices are awesome!

Warm Glass Pendants & Accessories
The Feathers of the Phoenix Pendants involve an 5 step process. It starts with a glass brick being fused from layers of transparent and opal glass dammed between four kiln bricks. That brick if sawed in half and bookended, then fused again. The humped brick is then sawed into thin slices with a round diamond bladed Taurus 3 glass saw. The slices are again bookended together and fused with a piece of clear glass on top. All are very beautiful and never the same. This was lot of work and I think they will be the only ones of their kind. Only a few of the the feather slices are small enough for jewelry pieces. After they are mashed by heavy tiles they are placed between blue dichoric and clear glass. These twisted wire hair accents are made from 16 gauge/1.63mm thick, silver colored, copper thick wire. I originally designed them for a friend who has sister locks (tiny braids) and thought they would be adorable for cowgirls with the one braided down the side of the face. The parrot feather mane accessories are attached with a sterling silver wire and a unakite
tube bead. The hair accessory comes with a hook to pull your hair through the twisted wire, and 4 tiny rubber bands in two colors for the end of your braid, and one extra twisted wire hair accent without a feather. For best results wet enough hair to make a thin braid from the scalp first, braid, pull the hair of the braid through the wire accent, braid again, add another, and finish your braid. "Groovy Glass", How is it made?

Iridescent, dichroic, and opal glass is hammered and fused, on a strips of clear glass, for 12 hours. The shapes are then drawn & sawed out with a Taurus 3 glass saw by hand. The glass is fired again to give all the edges a high fire polish shine.

The Groovy Sunshine Pendant set is made colorful frit, dichroic and iridescent glass. All the glass frit/crushed glass is fused into a thick flat piece, atop another piece of clear fusible glass. After that, the shape is sawed out with a Taurus 3 glass saw. The kiln is fired up again where the shape's edges get a high gloss shine. Each one comes out different and exciting! The Traveling Horse Scarf Pin and Earrings Set- This golden green dichroic glass scarf pin has a 24k gold pen horse fused between its two layers. It was capped with clear glass before fusing. The earrings are one layer and light weight with 24k gold pen stamped horses on top of the glass. It has a gold plated plated bail. The French ear wires are quality gold filled. The scarf pin has a horizontal 3/4 inch long, rotating key hole clasp.

Necklaces to Wear Your Glass On
All glass pendants come on free hemp cord but we also have these other necklaces for glass pendants available.

Whenever you buy a pendant and necklace together, I will usually make sure they fit together, and that the pendant can easily be slid on & off. If it does not, I usually remake or alter the necklace to fit your pendant before it is mailed.

Bead Necklaces

These are stunning alone or layered, but are made specifically for our fused glass pendants with sterling silver bails. They are made to slide right through their 4.3mm bail opening. Quality made with 3mm Czech faceted, high fire polished, aurora borealis beads. All of the trigger clasps, jump rings, crimps, crimp covers, and 2" chain extenders are .925 sterling silver.
These necklaces are approx. 17.5" long with a 2" chain extender so they can be worn from 17.5" to 19.5" depending on the pendant you are wearing, from higher to lower on the neckline. I am very impressed with these beads!
The matching bracelets are approx. 7.5" with all of the same sterling silver findings. Like the necklaces, they are strung on 19 strand, .61mm stainless, nylon coated, Beadalon wire, and double wrapped under the crimp covers for strength and security.

The "Sets" Include a beaded necklace and bracelet.

Conversation Heart Pendants

Conversation Hearts are sweet all year round and what a conversation piece! These hearts are more pastel in person and have crimson enamel messages baked right onto the hearts. They were cut out with a Taurus 3 glass saw, then fired in the kiln, to give the edges a high polish shine. They are 3mm thick and 1" by 1". They have tierra cast, lead free bails and are perfect for your girlfriends & kids. These will come on a light tan leather cord or you can check out our sterling silver chains below. Tidbits:

There is 100 times more gold in 14K Gold filled (rolled gold) than in gold plate.
A 14/20 Gold Filled piece is usually considered a lifetime piece of jewelry.

You should not mistake GOLD FILLED for GOLD PLATING. There is a very big difference. 14/20 wire or 1/20 Rolled gold wire is created by taking a sheet of 14K Gold and bonding it through extreme heat and pressure to a core of semi-precious metal (brass). The end result is a 14K tube which is strong, durable, and resistant to tarnish because of its 14K gold covering. By law this layer of karated gold has to be at least 1/20 of the total weight of the metal portion of the piece of jewelry.There is no legal requirement for the amount of gold that is ‘plated’ over base metal.

There are collections of old gold-filled wire jewelry pieces with dates on them from the early 1900's that are still in excellent shape!The finished product thus has a surface layer of gold of the appropriate karat weight which is very thick compared to gold plate, gold electroplate or rolled gold plate. The quantity of gold must be at least 1/20th by weight of the total product. This is commonly marked as 14/20, 12/20 or 10/20, which mean receptively 1/20th by weight 14K
gold-filled, 12K gold-filled, etc.
